My wife and I have been very impressed with the level of service provided by Humphrey Builders and Designers throughout the initial pre-design / concept, design development and planning stages of our residential project. After some early discussions around the sort of home that we had in mind, Dean quickly decided to bring in an external architect with a design philosophy and sensibility closely matched to ours. This proved to be a masterstroke, with the first drawings satisfying every one of the requisite elements in our exhaustive design brief. The working drawings have just been completed (with input from Dean’s in-house architect Kerie) and, to our great surprise, the final costing schedule came through right on target in terms of our original budget guidelines. We look forward with much anticipation to the construction phase of the project. Based on our experience to date, we would certainly not hesitate to recommend Dean Humphrey and his team to anyone who aspires to building a high-end, custom home with an outfit that offers truly personalised service, uncommon attention to detail, a strong commitment to quality and a good sense of governance when it comes to sticking to an agreed budget and project timeline.

Humphrey Builders & Designers is boosting its architectual firepower with the appointment of Kerie Tang as our Design and Contracts Manager.

Many custom building comnpanies lean to either the building side or the architectural side. We’re about bridging that gap. We know that the communication between the building side and the architectural side is the critical area in saving money, minimising delays and creating better designed houses. We’ve built our whole business around that principal.

Kerie has a background in design and contract management with high level architectural firms… and the way we’re structuring this at Humphrey Builders is that all of our clients will now have access to architectural resources. We believe that in terms of management or architectural design and high level construction of new homes we are the leading firm in Perth and that we will further improve in this area.

Cottesloe Penthouse

We’re closing in on completion of the Eric Street apartments, some of the largest in Cottesloe. There are two extremely high quality apartments in a very contemporary style. The penthouse has panoramic ocean views and will shortly be available for sale. Given the views, the style of the build and the fact that it’s minutes walk from the beach, it promises to be an iconic entertainer.
