Meet the team. We are qualified and skilled well beyond the required levels for our roles, and every year we undertake further training to advance our skills. Our construction department consists of Dean, the Managing Director, Damien, the Construction Manager and Neville, the Project Manager. We have a combined experience of ninety years.

Dean Humphrey - Managing Director
Dean is a Registered Builder who started the company in 1999. He’s a committee member of the Housing Industry Association (HIA) and a member of the Master Builders Association (MBA). Dean has been a building awards judge for the past seven years.

Damien Fraser - Construction Manager
Damien is a Registered Builder who’s supervised the construction of over three hundred homes. His previous role was as a project manager of a fourteen million dollar retirement village. At Humphrey Builders & Designers he oversees the quality and timing of all construction work.

Neville Stevens - Project Manager/Supervisor
Neville is a Registered Kiwi who brings considerable experience to the company after working in the industry for over forty years. His work history includes time as Construction Manager and Building Manager with Don Russell Homes. Neville has overseen the construction of literally thousands of homes and brings a wealth of knowledge to the company.

Annette Liu - Accounts Manager
Annette is a qualified CPA, born in Singapore, who oversees all accounts and internal accounting systems. She is also responsible for ensuring that all suppliers are paid on time.

Dean Smith - Senior Estimator
Dean trained as an Architectural Draftsman and has been working in the industry for over fifteen years, principally as a Senior Estimator. He has considerable experience quantifying costs and details for the construction of custom built homes. One of Dean’s main roles is to ensure that client budgets are adhered to.
